Zollverein Location Banner

An Environment That Promotes Innovation, Culture and Change

Zollverein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001, is not only a beautiful event location but also an international best-practice model for the successful transformation of industrial sites: a landmark of an enormous success story and a symbolic site for building a bridge between origins and the future. Former „Zeche” (coal mine) Zollverein has successfully completed the development from smoking chimneys to an attractive cultural and business location. At the same time, Zollverein is the place where innovations were developed and new ideas were tested from the very beginning and where this tradition will continue in the future.

Therefore, only this location came into our mind as perfect for the European IT Management Symposium. Where better to discuss transformation, innovation and culture than at a place where this is part of the history and identity?
